Non-English Speaking Background Links

About us

NESB Links is a migrant support group set up, managed and run by volunteers who themselves are mainly from multicultural backgrounds together with members of the mainstream community.

In 1997 a group of women with non-English speaking backgrounds got together to support each other with day to day issues and long-term issues they were facing with. As a result of this group NESB Links was established and incorporated in 1998.

OUR VISION

· Lessen the isolation felt by most migrants

· Provide assistance to settle and integrate into the mainstream culture and organizations without losing their own cultural identity.
